McDonald’s Introduces Egg White Delight McMuffin®

McDonald’s breakfast sandwiches available with egg whites includes, Egg McMuffin®, Sausage McMuffin with Egg, Bacon, Egg & Cheese Biscuit, Sausage Biscuit with Egg, Bacon, Egg & Cheese McGriddles®, Sausage, Egg & Cheese McGriddles and Bacon, Egg & Cheese Bagel.  Freshly grilled egg whites are also available for substitution on McDonald’s breakfast platters.

Inspiration Celebration® Returned to Philadelphia!

The Inspiration Celebration Gospel Tour stopped in Philadelphia on Friday, May 10. This year’s event was hosted by Sharon Baptist Church, located at 3955 Conshohocken Ave.

Performers included Vickie Winans, Smokie Norful, Tamela Mann and many more!

McDonald’s was on-site distributing fans, autographed cards and more. Ronald® McDonald even made a guest appearance!

Prior to the concert, the McDonald’s Smoothie Fusion Tour made a stop at Sharon Baptist Church. McCafé Brand Ambassadors sampled the Blueberry Pomegranate and Mango Pineapple Smoothies. Games and giveaways added to the festivities.

Philly Style Unwrapped!

Learn about the latest Spring and Summer trends from Bloomingdale's fashion experts while enjoying refreshments and light bites with friends!

As part of the launch of the new McWrap McDonald's® is hosting a fashion show at Bloomingdale’s in King of Prussia. Local fashion designers will design and create McWrap inspired wrap dresses and present them on May 16^th from 6-8 p.m.

Refreshments and appetizers will be served prior to the show. After the presentation, all of the wrap dresses will be auctioned off with the proceeds benefiting the Philadelphia Ronald® McDonald House. Tickets can be purchased at http://philarmh.org/fashion.

2012-2013 RMHC^® Scholarship Winners Announced!

Ronald McDonald House Charities^® of the Philadelphia Region, Inc. grants approximately $80,000 each year to college-bound high school seniors from the Greater Philadelphia area based on demonstrated academic achievement, financial need and community involvement. The local RMHC Scholarship is comprised of 4 individual programs: the RMHC Scholars^® program; the RMHC/Future Achievers^® program for African American high school seniors; the RMHC/Hispanic American Commitment to Educational Resources^® (HACER®) program for Latino high school seniors; and the RMHC/Asian Students Increasing Achievement^® (ASIA^®) program for Asian high school seniors. Fifty-five total scholarships were awarded.

Dental Care for Qualified Kids Ages 1-8 at No Cost to Families

Supported by RMHC^® of the Philadelphia Region, Inc., and operated by St. Christopher's Foundation for Children, the Ronald McDonald Care Mobile is a two-chair clinic on wheels that provides diagnostic, preventative and restorative dental care to qualified new patients ages 1 to 8 at no cost to their families.

Care includes examinations, cleanings, fluoride and sealant treatments, x-rays and fillings. Care Mobile staff will also provide children with dental hygiene instruction. Complicated treatment will be referred. Children qualify for the program if their families are unable to find a Medicaid provider or cannot afford to pay for dental services. The Care Mobile Dental Program offers complete, continuous care and serves as a dental home for qualified children. To schedule an appointment, please call (215) 427-8877.
