Ronald McDonald® Care Mobile operated by St. Christopher's Foundation for Children
Supported by RMHC of the Philadelphia Region, Inc. and operated by St. Christopher’s Foundation for Children, the Ronald McDonald Care Mobile is a mobile dental clinic on wheels that delivers quality diagnostic, preventative and restorative dental care to qualified new patients ages 1 through 8 at no cost to their family. More than 1,000 children are seen each year. Children qualify for the program if their families are unable to find a Medicaid provider or cannot afford to pay for dental services.
Care includes examinations, cleanings, fluoride and sealant treatments, x-rays and fillings. Care Mobile staff will also provide children with oral hygiene instruction. Complicated treatment will be referred and emergency care is available for returning patients. The Care Mobile Dental Program offers complete, continuous care and serves as a dental home for qualified children.
Public treatment sessions occur on the last Friday of each month from 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children, E. Erie Ave. & N. Front St., Philadelphia, PA 19134. To schedule an appointment, please call (215) 427-8877.
